2016 was a huge year for the Xamarin team — we joined the Microsoft family, open-sourced our software, and brought Xamarin to millions of new developers as part of Visual Studio. 2017 is going to be an even bigger year for mobile development, and we recapped four fast, fun, and free things you can do to get the year off to a productive start. This includes signing up for Visual Studio Mobile Center, which is mission control for mobile apps and a fully-integrated dashboard that brings together all the lifecycle services you need to build, test, distribute, and monitor your apps.
Xamarin Dev Days has been a huge hit around the world over the last few years. We know there were some people who weren't able to make it to an in-person event, so in December we decided to host "Xamarin Dev Days Live" on Channel 9. Now you can access the recordings from that live event on-demand on Channel 9 whenever and wherever you want, as well as access all of the demos, slides, and hands-on labs on Github.
