Acne Studios has unveiled its denim collection for the Fall/Winter 2021 season, which channels the brand’s roots. The brand itself was birthed when Jonny Johansson and his creative collective “Acne” made 100 pairs of raw denim jeans with red stitching in 1996 and gave them out to friends and family.
This initial effort is what set the stage for the brand’s garment expansion and the establishment of the fashion house Acne Studios. For Johansson, denim represents the ideal material for playing with design elements. As such, denim has always remained a crucial part of the brand’s character. The new offering from Acne Studios was inspired by retro camping and outdoor living. As such, the denim contains subtle elements of wear with a nature-inspired attitude.
The collection features new denim treatments, which created Earth and clay blue washes. Some of the denim options also feature multi-patch and deconstructed treatments. The new styles are available in seasonal washes for both men and women in a rigid 5-pocket style with a loose bootcut.
The Fall/Winter 2021 denim collection is available now in all Acne Studios stores and on the brand’s website.
