Walking Privileged Paws All Over Dallas SINCE 2015
How many people, when asked, “What would your dream job be?” can answer that question with, “I already have it!”? Jake Long can! From a young age Jake realized he had a love for animals and unique ability to connect with them. When he graduated high school in 2013, he was confused by his lack of direction. Everyone else seemed to have a plan. Although Jake didn’t know what his plan was, he knew that what everyone else had planned wasn’t the plan that was going to fulfill him. He did know he didn’t want to be inside and sit at a desk. Coming from a family with a history of entrepreneurship he also knew he would be happiest working for himself.
Having walked dogs in the neighborhood since 2013, Jake realized there was always a demand for not only dog walking, but also other areas of pet care. Most of his walks were repeat clients and loved him as much as he loved them and their dogs. In 2015, with an idea and a purpose he made the decision to dedicate himself to his dogs’ full time.
Today Jake is no longer just the boy walking the neighbor’s dogs around the neighborhood. Through dedication and commitment, he has successfully grown his client base with an all-star cast of repeat stellar clients and pets who love him as much as he loves them. Privileged Paws is his successful business and Jake is happily committed to doing what it takes to continue grow, while keeping that same family feel that has helped make him the beloved dog walker/sitter his clients know and love. He is truly doing what he loves and it shows every day.
Why Us
For founder, and owner, Jake Long, Privileged Paws is not a hobby and is more than just a job. Growing up, Jake’s love and passion for animals, and especially dogs, led to a desire to dedicate his life to making the lives of pets better. So, in 2015, Jake launched Privileged Paws in his local neighborhood, and has lived his motto every day: to keep pets happy and well cared for while their parents are away.
Privileged Paws is different because Jake is not happy with status quo. With focus on being a professional dog walking/sitting business, and not just a walker in the neighborhood, he is always striving to make Privileged Paws better. For Privileged Paws, it’s about quality, not quantity. Jake has taken the time to create company best practices and policies that are followed with each new client. He has made an investment in his clients and his business. This includes, but is not limited to, software that each client uses to input information about their pet before a mandatory “Meet and Greet.” Jake personally meets with each client, and pet, to make sure he understands the client needs and if the pet is a right fit for the services he offers. When Jake leaves your house you will have peace of mind knowing you have chosen someone who will make sure your pet will be in caring, loving hands.
In addition to the professionalism you will experience with Privileged Paws, additional things that make Privileged Paws different are: there is a strict “no talking or texting” on your phone while you are walking a pet. Privileged Paws is completely focused on making the dog visit and walking experience a fun and rewarding experience for your pet. Every experience is different, based on your pet’s needs. They go above and beyond, even bringing paw cream to protect your pets paws during hot summer months. They understand that your pet is like your child and will treat them with the love and respect your pet deserves.
Privileged Paws serves the North Dallas and surrounding area. Just a few of the benefits of using Privileged Paws include: Founder and owner, Jake, lives in the neighborhood. He takes pride in his stellar reputation of being dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. His client’s dogs truly love him, and he truly loves them. He effortlessly establishes an instant rapport with any dog. In addition, he is bonded and insured.
