CoinJar Card is now available with Google Pay™
It’s here! We’re thrilled to let our customers in Australia know that they can now use Google Pay to pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other cryptocurrencies through their CoinJar Card!
Whether it’s buying flowers at South Melbourne Market or getting a cheeky beef pie at the footy, CoinJar Card customers can pay for it all using Google Pay. From today, CoinJar customers can add their CoinJar Card to the Google Pay app on their supported Android device and say goodbye to physical bank cards. Now it’s never been easier to make safe and easy payments online, in apps and in stores.
What is Google Pay?
Google Pay is a mobile payments system that makes it simple to use your devices to pay in apps, in stores and online. Adding your CoinJar Card to Google Pay only takes a few moments, making it simple and secure. For additional information, please see our dedicated FAQ page.

Step 1: Install and set up Google Pay. If you haven’t already, download the app and add your CoinJar Card details.
Step 2: Wake your phone or open Google Pay on your smartwatch. With your screen on, hold your device to the terminal.
Step 3: Tap, pay and go. Google Pay protects your payment information with multiple layers of security.
You only need to set up the card once, so you can set and forget. Now you can use your CoinJar Card with Google Pay to make purchases in store and online with the device you carry every day.

Pro tip: To set up or change a default cryptocurrency to use when paying with CoinJar Card, make sure your CoinJar app is updated to the latest version if you don't have automatic updates enabled.
